With the golf season finally at our doorstep, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know a little about the golf lesson program. As in the past, Becky, Kyle and myself will be offering individual and group lessons. It is recommended that lessons be made on a reservation basis, although, this is not to say that sometimes a lesson cannot be given on a walk-up basis. Advance notice really helps with staff scheduling and we encourage you to give us 24 hours notice.
All lessons are scheduled for 30 minutes (unless otherwise noted) and may be charged to your Club account, paid by check or cash. I’m happy to announce that lesson rates have remained the same from 2009. Rates are: $35 per ½ hour, and $25 per ½ hour for juniors (16 and under). We also offer an adult series of (4) ½ hour lessons for a package price of $120. When signing up for a series of (4) lessons, it is the intent that all (4) lessons will be given by the same instructor.

Spring Member-Guest:
Scheduled for Friday, May 7th, this informal one-day event will feature a One Net Best Ball of the twosome format and a 1:00p shotgun start. This event is open to men and women, and offers you an opportunity to host a friend, client or family member to an afternoon of FUN. The field will be broken down into divisions based upon total team handicap, and depending on the sign-ups will include men’s, women’s and possibly mixed teams. Entry fee is $30 per two-player team, with all entries being paid out in gift certificates. Sign-up today as I’m sure it will fill up fast.

Two Day Member-Guest:
This year’s premiere guest event is scheduled for June 25^th & 26^th. The field of two-man teams is treated to 45 holes of golf, fabulous food and great camaraderie. When you receive your official information package, please don’t delay; mail or fax your sign-up form right away to reserve your spot in this outstanding event. The Member-Guest provides a unique opportunity to entertain a friend, client, business associate, or just that someone special to wonderful event. The staff at LFCC is looking forward to pampering you and your guest.

Weekend Tee Times:

Starting the weekend of April 3^rd & 4th, we will begin using reservable tee times. Weekend tee times are available using the following guidelines: Saturday tee times may be made starting at 9am on the Thursday prior, and Sunday tee times may be made starting at 10am on Thursday prior. Reservable tee times are at 10 minute intervals from 7am to 10am, and then on the evens (:00, :20, :40) through 3pm. To reserve a tee time you must have at least 3 players in your group. Walk-up tee times are only available that day, and can only be made when all players in the group are present. Walk-up tee times are on the odds (:10, :30, :50) and begin at 10:10a and run through 2:50p. Singles that would like to play before 10am on weekends are encouraged to contact the Golf Shop for assistance with possible playing opportunities.
We feel that having reservable and walk-up tee times offer you the best of both worlds.

Golf Event & Activities Board:

The Golf Information Board is located on the lower level of the clubhouse in the hallway leading back to the locker rooms. This area will serve as the hub for all golf related information, results, event sign-ups, etc. Please make a habit of checking this board on a regular basis to stay current on all the latest golf news, notes and event signups.
