LFCC has 2 ladies leagues.
Ladies 9 Hole League:
The Wednesday morning 9-hole League is scheduled to kick off its season on May 6th with a 9:00a shotgun. Each week a different game of skill and chance is enjoyed followed by a group lunch. More details will follow once they are available. The 9-holers will host an informational gathering on Wednesday, April 14th at 9:00a with rolls and coffee. For those interested, please RSVP to Karen Dohme, Mary Pummell or the Golf Shop. If you are interested in playing but cannot attend the gathering, please let us know and we will forward you all the relevant information.
From the Ladies 18-Hole League: The Ladies 18-hole League kicks off another exciting season with an 8:30a shotgun on Tuesday, May 4th, with lunch following play. Dues for the 2010 season are $50.00 (subject to change) and are payable by the first day of play, May 4th. You may drop off your check to Becky, Kyle or Tim in the Golf Shop, or pay on May 4th. The League brochures will be distributed at lunch and additional copies will be left in the Golf Shop for those that are unable to attend the kickoff. Also, notify the Golf Shop if you’re planning to join us for the weekly golf and/or join the ladies for lunch.
Ladies Practice Makes Perfect:
Formerly know as 4-Holers, this instructional series is a great way to tune/improve your skills. We will again be offering two five-week series on Tuesday evenings. The first series will run from April 27th through May 25th, the second series will run from June 15th through July 13th. Whether you’re a newcomer to the game or an advanced player, these programs offer excellent instruction combined with a friendly atmosphere. Each evening will last approximately 1 hour and consist of a different subject matter (full swing, short game, putting, etc.) and hitting numerous practice balls.
With a group clinic atmosphere, a chance to meet many of your fellow golfers and a girl’s night out, what are you waiting for? Sign-ups are limited to the first 26 in each series. If you are interested in both sessions, please be aware that since space is limited, we will reserve the right to put names from series I on the waiting list for series II. Entry for each series (of 5 lessons) is $75. Considering that a single ½ hour lesson is $35, this is also a great value in addition to tons of FUN.
